Buy gift cards

Press the "Missing CVC?" button when paying or saving the gift card in the "My Gift Cards" app. You can also call iGive support on tel. 21 52 52 04 to get your code. This only applies to those who purchased digital gift cards before June 12, 2024. 

You can check the balance on your card at this pageIf you have saved the gift card in the "My Gift Cards" app, you can always find the balance there.

It is possible to use the gift card at Kulinarisk Akademi, but you cannot pay with this on their website. You must therefore contact booking@kulinariskakademi.no before booking a course to arrange this. 

Everyone in Mathallen will be able to accept payment with digital gift cards. The physical gift card can be used at most places, but some places have bank terminals that cannot accept payment with gift cards. Therefore, we recommend saving your gift card in the "My Gift Cards" app so that you can pay via the app at places that do not accept physical gift cards.

You can easily save your gift card in the My Gift Cards app and then use it as a digital gift card at anyone in Mathallen.

1. Download My Gift Cards from the App Store or Google Play.
2. Create a user the first time you open the app.
3. Click the + button under the My Gift Cards tab
4. Scan the QR code on the back of the plastic gift card. Also remember to enter the CVC which you can find on the back of the card. Alternatively, you can enter the gift card number manually. Then click the "Add gift card" button.

It has a validity of 1 year from the date of issue.

Mathallen's gift card is a value card and therefore cannot be replaced. The exception is if you have a receipt with the card number on it. Then we can look up the balance on the gift card and transfer it to a new card. In that case, send an email to post@mathallen.no with your card number and we will help you.

No, it cannot be exchanged for cash.

No, the gift card can only be used for over-the-counter purchases.
