It will be a theoretical review where we will go through the most important characteristics of the wine country and learn why the wine from the different areas tastes the way they do.
We taste our way through some of the most important grape varieties, and look at the climatic conditions and historical reasons why Italian wine production has developed into what it is today. We also go through how the characteristics of the wines affect the choice of wine with food and give you good food tips for the different wines.
We will taste five wines from different regions this evening. The wines come from classic areas such as Piedmont, Veneto and Tuscany, and more unknown areas such as Campania, Lombardy, Sicily and/or Trentino Alto Adige.
